Property code: OC-JBGALL

Make your escape to this charming three-bed property in Beer. Its bright and airy open-plan living accommodation welcomes you in, with a good mix of original and quirky features and modern conveniences with contemporary styling. Spread over three storeys, it’s ideal for an extended group of family or friends keen to explore this popular fishing village. Shops, pubs and the pebbly beach are all within 400 metres, so it’s perfect for little legs too.

Access to this unique property is via a door up a side alley. Stepping down, you’re in a reception hall with stacks of hooks, an ornamental fireplace, a chest and practical wooden floors. It’s a really versatile space with handy storage that also doubles as a play area for children. The slightly unusual layout sees you going upstairs to the first floor for the three bedrooms. Two bright and airy king-size and one twin bedroom await, all generously proportioned with a calming vibe and modern pine-look furniture, and sharing a contemporary bathroom with his and hers sinks. Up again to the glorious loft-style living space, comprising an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner nestled under the apex roof with extra light from a Velux window. Get cooking in the contemporary fitted kitchen on one side, before eating it at the table or just spend quality time together in the comfortable lounge.

The lack of outside space won’t matter as the beach is within 400 metres downhill, while the green haven of Jubilee Memorial Grounds lies just above it. It’s a great picnic spot with its breathtaking sea views – and no sand to get in your sarnies! Seaton is 2 miles east, accessible via car or on foot following the South West Coast Path. Lyme Regis and its famous harbour and Cobb wall is 9.5 miles.

Gorgeous property in a great location. Ground floor is great for storage, bedrooms and bathroom on the 1st floor, all a great size and living area/kitchen on the top floor, open, spacious & comfortable. Just bear in mind all the stairs if you've anyone travelling who's less mobile.

Absolutely brilliant place. We have stayed many times and hope to again in the future. It has a really nice open plan space upstairs so everyone can be together when cooking etc. I just love this place and its so close to all of the shops and a short walk downhill to the beach. Excellent thank you for letting us stay

This is a great property, spacious and comfortable for 6. What it lacks in outdoor space it more than makes up for in location. We all had a great stay.

Lovely cottage, very big. Stairs are quite steep so be aware if you have problems with knees etc. Overall clean but needs a deep clean. Expect to have to strip the beds before you leave!

Poorly maintained, not 4 star by any stretch of the imagination. Several issues too numerous to mention.

We liked this cottage and were very comfortable in it. Excellent equipment for toddlers. Our only reservation would be that the stairs might be challenging for the less able.

This was the 4th cottage we've stayed in during our regular visits to Beer and the property was fantastic. Really well kept and all the equipment you could need, generally very clean throughout. Even though any location in Beer is fine and you're never far from the sea front, the cottage location is superb and so handy for all amenities, plus you cRead morean listen to the running water of the Beer stream from your bedroom window - bonus!
