Pack your bags and head to Beer for a relaxing break in this welcoming retreat. Set in a peaceful area on the outskirts of the village, this cosy cottage boasts two bedrooms and plenty of charm, making it ideal for one couple or a small family. With well-equipped and thought-out interiors, it’s in a lovely location with the town and pebbly beach within 0.5 miles. It even boasts a rare private parking spot that’s tricky to find in a bustling fishing village like Beer. If the English weather’s playing ball, you can relax in the pretty garden that’s small but perfectly formed, with a furnished patio for dining alfresco.

There’s plenty of space for family fun here, with a welcoming lounge offering sofa seating, a TV and a coal effect gas fire for those cosy cooler nights. Through to the kitchen, there’s a more communal feel, with modern country-style cabinets offering all you’ll need for self-catering endeavours while you’re away. Open the back door to the garden to let that sea air in if you're dining at the charming table in here or just chatting to whoever’s doing the cooking. Sleeping quarters are upstairs, comprising one inviting double and a lovely twin bedroom. The suntrap garden to the rear is enclosed, with furniture and pretty planting.

Located on Lyme Bay this picture-postcard village remains popular year after year, so prepare to do some serious pottering about the shops and other facilities. The beach is a great place to stride out or just linger and watch the fishing boats and people pass by. Walking is a great pastime here, so remember to bring your boots for some acclaimed cliff walks. The South West Coast Path passes through, so head out on a stroll and see the awe-inspiring Jurassic Coast from a different perspective.

Lovely cottage, very clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The location couldn't be better, it meant that we could park up, walk into the village and get the local buses to explore a bit further afield. Good to have a parking spot off-road. A lovely little garden, very private, which benefitted from the evening sun. We would certainly staRead morey again. Hide

Great location and cosy cottage. Second bedroom with twin beds is ideal for 2 children but a little small for 2 adults. Bonus parking space was appreciated. Only 5 minute walk to sea front, passing various shops and eating / drinking places.

Great little property to stay, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and it's own parking space which is a novelty in Beer! Have stayed here the same week for the last 4 years and love it.

Would not be suitable for 4 adults, not enough room or storage space or seating in the lounge for 4 adults. Would recommend to a friend if it was for 2 people.
