Head off to this Arts and Crafts property in Beer and enjoy a stay in Devon to remember with your family or friends. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom holiday home has been beautifully renovated to offer modern-day comfort as well as period charm. Some 300 metres from the beach and the South West Coast Path, it offers dog-friendly accommodation and comes with a west-facing terrace where you can enjoy a sundowner at the end of each exciting day.

Open the front door and step into the tiled hall. A step down takes you into the open-plan kitchen/diner, where you can prepare meals, gather round the table and gaze out across the village. There is also a utility room here. Wander through to the lounge after your meals together to light the open fire on autumn and winter days and perhaps catch up on your favourite boxset on the Smart TV. Also downstairs is a family shower room. Climb the handsome wooden staircase up from the hall to reach the bedrooms. These include two doubles and a twin. There is also a family bathroom up here with gorgeous stained-glass window. There are two steps up between one bedroom and the bathroom and the rest of the sleeping accommodation. Heat up the BBQ on warm evenings and dine outside. Light the firepit when you wish to stay out longer and gather round it as the sun comes out. A permit for one car to park in a public car park is provided.

Stroll through the village of Beer to buy local provisions and dine out. Spend time on the beach here and book a sea fishing trip. Follow the South West Coast Path out in either direction for a long walk along the clifftops. Visit the Beer Quarry Caves 1 mile away.

Very clean, well equiped and thoughful decor. The location is very convenient for Beer seafront and is only a short walk to the shops, restaurants and pubs. Being able to park on the front was also brilliant.

We have been visiting Beer every year since 1989. We have stayed in lots of different cottages in that time, and this is by far the best cottage we have stayed in. It was very clean, very well equipped, comfortable, great size property and fantastic views across the village. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Arts and Crafts cottage very sympathetically restored. Lots of original features . Two lovely shower rooms and new kitchen and utility. Lovely views from the patio over the village. This is a brilliant cottage. It's clean and bright and the owners take a great deal of trouble keeping it that way. This was our third visit and there have been significant improvements each time - this time it was a complete refurbishment of the utility room. That's very impressive. Probably best feature of all is the private parking on the prRead moreemises - Beer's parking is a real problem, so having a personal parking space is fantastic. Wonderful cottage, beautifully blending original features with modern comforts. Fully and thoughtfully equipped. Great location for just relaxing, or enjoying the beach at Beer, the coast path, independent local shops, as well as the surrounding area. Would happily stay here again.

Cleanliness at the property seemed to be lacking, no attention to detail I.e. stainless steel towel radiator covered in splash marks, kitchen surfaces still dirty, washing machine has thick layer of dust & dirt on door. Parking on the drive was a nightmare when cars parked in bay opposite entrance. Quality of cottage could be higher, I.e. furnitureRead more & furnishings Hide

Skirting boards were quite dirty behind coffee tables, occasional tables, weird smell in upstairs bathroom, I think coming from under sink pedestal, behind which, was filthy. We gave it a wipe over with anti bacterial wipes, but it really needs a good going over.
