Situated in Croyde ideal for walking to the village with its array of eateries and shops this is a great base in which to explore the Devon coastline.  Idea for family or friends this modern finished, single-storey holiday home in Croyde. Sleeping five guests, and welcoming canine companions too, the three-bedroom retreat is just 200 metres from the scenic, sandy beach renowned for its surfing and glorious golden sands. With a front terrace and rear deck, this is the perfect place to rest, rejuvenate and spend happy times together after your exciting days out.

Wander in to spread out to enjoy the living space, which has underfloor heating. The heart of this holiday home is its open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is an airy space, with a vaulted ceiling and ample room. Unpack any fresh provisions you have bought over in the kitchen, then prepare delicious meals for all. Dine together at the table, relax on the soft seating in front of the TV or challenge each other on the games console. When you are ready to turn in for the night, make your way through to one of the immaculate bedrooms. These include a king-size, with Smart TV and doors on to the deck, a twin room, also with Smart TV and with zip-and-link beds that can be made up as a king-size if discussed in advance, and a single bedroom. There is a family bathroom. Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner outside on sunny days and relax on the patio or deck with a glass of wine as the sun sets. There is parking for two cars.

Follow the path through the grassy area down to the beach whenever you fancy a swim. Head over to Saunton Sands, 2 miles away, to enjoy the beautiful beach there as well. Lace up your walking boots and tire out your four-legged friend with a walk of the same distance along the South West Coast Path to Saunton Sands if you are feeling energetic enough.

Visited 31st October for a 4 night break. Whilst the interior of the property offers an acceptable level of comfort, externally both the property together with surrounding properties could do with a makeover. The parking is not good if you have a decent sized car, the entrance is very narrow, however parking outside on the road was not a problem. ARead moret 730.00 for the 4 nights is not valid for money. We usually stay in Woolacombe where the properties we have stayed are in better locations with equivalent levels of comfort, at more reasonable price. In some instances up to 200 less for the same 4 nights. We decided to give Croyde a try as , a Though we have visited many times in the 30 odd years of visiting the area we had never stayed in the village. The Thatch pub has always had a good reputation, we ate here for lunch and evening meals twice and we were not disappointed. The Kings Arms in Georgian is also within easy reach, a pub we eat at every year during our stays in Woolacombe. There is a very good restaurant in Croyde, Th New Coast, fairly expensive but excellent food. All in all the village had all we needed, however we will not be be stopping at Pipedream again. Hide

Location is great, spacious light & airy accommodation. Located in a cul-de-sac is perfect only a short walk from the beach and coastal walks, local shops, pubs and amenities would tempt us back to the area. Parking is fine, outside shower very for a post swim rinse. Hose pipe a great addition when shampooing a sea drenched pooch. Our second time at Pipedream and another wonderful week. The accommodation is perfect for the two of us and our Cockapoo, clean, comfortable and perfect for a walk to the beach or into town. We will be back next year!

This property is equipped & fitted out to a high standard. Its location is ideal for beach and coastal walks. There is an excellent stocked village shop/post office. However the utmost care is needed to negotiate the narrow driveway, but we would definitely stay there again.

Very modern small house in a great location. A short walk along to the end of the road and a couple of lanes and youre on the beach. House is well equipped with facilities,TVs in rooms, nice kitchen, WiFi. Parking is for one car only on the drive. Getting onto the drive is very tight between the brick gate posts so if youre nervous about parkiRead moreng forget it. The location of the property is excellent. Short walk to the beach and a couple of pubs. The property itself is spacious inside, although the bedrooms are quite small. The driveway is very narrow and if you have a large car its a struggle. Not impossible but a struggle especially in the dark. The television is placed too high on the wall for me. ItRead more wasnt a comfortable position to relax and watch tv. The shower isnt very good at all. The shower head isnt positioned centrally over the bath and the water pressure is extremely low. There is a small outside area which we didnt use but Im sure would be nice in warmer weather. There is a security light also at the back which would either be on permanently, off or flicker on and off all night long. We couldnt find a switch to turn it off. The heating is underfloor and managed by a heat pump, which is great but it would be beneficial to have some instructions on how to use. The property was very cold when we arrived and took some time to warm up. Hide
