Location, location, location is certainly the case with this two-bed, deluxe apartment in Seaton. It’s great for families, friends or a couple, superbly positioned as it is for this lively town’s shops, amenities and shingle beach. If you like to leave the car on holiday, you have a choice of car parks to use the parking permit provided and you’re near bus stops to get around town or further afield. Relax amid the stylish interiors of this spacious apartment or just use it as a jumping-off point for exploring more of the jaw-dropping Jurassic Coast.

This single-storey apartment is part of a stunning conversion from the 1870s ‘Counting House’ and is near the town centre and Clock Tower. The main entrance is shared with stairs up to the second floor. Light and airy, it has attractive oak flooring throughout the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, complete with a bay window. A contemporary kitchen on one end allows you to have breakfast or fully self-cater, with a modern dining table for four and a sociable and comfortable lounge area offering distant sea views and an ornamental fireplace. For sleeping, there’s one king-size and one double bedroom, both of which are elegantly furnished, sharing the contemporary-styled bathroom.

Seaton Beach is within 100 metres. Or sit savouring an ice cream in Seafield Gardens or the larger Cliff Field Gardens, before wending your way down to admire the colourful beach huts. Walk to the small Axmouth Harbour the other end (1 mile) of this beach. If the pebbles get too much, opt for the Esplanade. Check out the town’s shops, grab a coffee and maybe take a ride on the Tramway. Or just get your boots on and hike the 2 miles along the South West Coast Path to picture-postcard Beer.

We had a great holiday staying at the crown apartment. It is excellently placed for the beach and the town and long stay parking is close by . The apartment has everything you need if you like to cook for yourself but is close to local restaurants if you prefer to eat out. It is very clean and comfortable and we had a very relaxing stay. Ideal position to shops/ beach and amenities. Bus stop close by to go to explore Sidmouth/ Lyme Regis.

It would have been helpful to know that there was a lot of noise from the car park below and seagulls and that other houses were very close - we could actually see people lying in their beds - so I guess they could see us! This is not an apartment for anyone with mobility issues as there are lots of stairs We would have liked some shelving in the bRead moreathroom - there was no where to put anything.
