Spectacular cliff-top walks on the Jurassic Coast await and you can make day trips to the pretty fishing village of Beer and onto Branscombe, both within 5.5 miles. The coastal town of Lyme Regis with its famous harbour wall known as the Cobb and plenty of interesting specialist shops, is a 7-mile drive over the Devon border into Dorset. The small thriving market town of Axminster, famous for the Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall River Cottage Kitchen and Deli, also has plenty of shops and a weekly street market and is also only 7 miles away.
