This two-bedroom mews cottage is a mere 500 meters away from the beach and can comfortably sleep four guests. Whether you're looking to relax and enjoy the fresh sea air or explore the best sights and attractions of East Devon, this cottage in Seaton is the perfect place to make your home away from home. The open-plan living space is a welcome spot to put your feet up after a day on the sand.

When you arrive, step into the entrance hall and hang your coats, and descend two steps into the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The exposed brickwork creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Settle into the sofas for an evening of TV, games and conversation. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare delicious meals to enjoy at the dining table. The ground floor also houses the family bathroom. When it's time for bed, climb the open-tread staircase to the double and twin bedrooms. Outside, the small front area gives you a place to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the fresh coastal air.

Take a trip back in time by riding the narrow-gauge, heritage tramway that runs between Seaton, Colyford and Colyton. Enjoy the diverse range of shops, restaurants and attractions or walk along the beach and take in the stunning views. The cottage is well equipped and homely. It's ideally situated in the pedestrianised heart of Seaton, literally two minutes walk from everything including the beach, and is a great base from which to explore the surrounding East Devon coast and countryside. The Original Cottages team are super efficient and everything went without a hitch. Will Read moredefinitely use them again. Hide

The fridge in the property is old and inefficient. Anything kept in there was not very cold and some green salad/veg went off. Other than that - nice quiet location very close to lots of great restaurants/takeaways, nice shower in the bathroom, pretty much everything you needed was in the cottage. The downstairs room is cool if you have a dog. WoRead moreuld have preferred hand wash/soap rather than sanitiser in the kitchen. On the arrival instructions it would be better to explain that people need to contact Original Cottages to arrange the digital pass rather than wondering what you are supposed to do and then having to make time to sort it out.
