Cottage is set in a dip, no view at all and it was dark, one bath towel and hand towel each to last 7 nights. No way of drying due to time of yr. owners keep a close eye on electric used. However they were responsive when asked for extra towels. Location is ok, regular ferry to Dartmouth. Nothing much in the village, 2 pubs and 1 shop.

It meets the description on the website except for the lack of garden and that the heated towel rail is restricted to winter months.

We had a great stay! Location is perfect as you are on a quiet road right across the street from a park. You are 10 minutes walk into town where you can grab the ferry to Dartmouth or catch the bus to other places (Paignton, Brixham, etc.) There are plenty of walk paths right outside your doorstep so it was great for our dog. We stayed for several Read moreweeks and worked some while we were there and did not have any issues with the wifi, including on Zoom meetings. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and more. Plenty of space for 2 people as it was essentially a two bedroom apartment (1 room with a sofa bed). Hide

This property was one of the best equipped we have stayed in over the years. Situated in a very tranquil spot but not too far from all that Dartmouth has to offer.

The cottage is in a fantastic location, a stone's throw from a lovely green area (great if you have a dog) which, if you walk a little further, takes you right into town, from where the ferry to Dartmouth is easily accessible and regular. Kingswear itself is lovely, with a few good pubs etc, and Dartmouth offers plenty more. The house itself is a gRead morereat place to stay, very well equipped and in a quiet location. Hide
