Get away to this family-friendly, contemporary home in a quiet part of Braunton. Close to everything in the village and 3 miles from the coast, it’s the perfect base for exploring North Devon with your canine companions, where you can enjoy drinks on the patio while they doze in the enclosed garden.

The charming cottage has a chic, relaxed style throughout, with gorgeous furniture and fittings and attractive artwork on the walls. Enjoy lazing in the living room, there’s a 43” Smart HD TV for entertainment, and meals in the beautifully light dining room, with bags of space and French doors to the garden. The large contemporary kitchen/breakfast room has everything you need to prepare tasty meals, a breakfast bar for quick eats and a Dulce Gusto coffee machine for your morning cuppa. There’s also a WC on the ground floor and the family bathroom is on the first floor, along with a sophisticated king-size bedroom where you can watch TV in bed, and an attractive twin room with a pull-out trundle bed for one guest. Light the BBQ and spend the evening outside while the kids and canines play on the lawn; there’s also a storage shed for your bikes.

Take your four-legged friends for a run on Saunton Sands (3 miles away), three miles of golden sands that welcomes canines all year round. Woolacombe beach too (7 miles) has miles of sandy shore to explore and both beaches are great for water sports. Explore the area on local footpaths, the Tarka Trail passes through Braunton, miles of footpaths and cycle routes through the gorgeous countryside of the Taw estuary. Enjoy the local pubs, restaurants, and shops in Braunton, explore the local towns and villages of Appledore (16 miles), Bideford (14.5 miles) and Barnstaple (5.5 miles).

We found the process of booking the cottage simple and appreciated the emails as we approached our holiday. The property was accurately described and reasonably priced will book again.
