Property code: OC-JBSHEA

Located in the gateway town to the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Jurassic Coast, this bright and contemporary property is an excellent base for a small family or couple who are seeking a classic British seaside break. Soft furnishings and large patio doors which let the fresh air roll in creates a comfortable and relaxing open-plan living space for socialising after a day of exploring the town of Seaton and beyond. You’ll be spoilt for choice with beaches nearby and scenic walking paths through the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

When you enter the property, you’ll find yourself in the crisp, neutral-toned lounge/kitchen/diner, which has a gentle coastal theme throughout. The farmhouse-style kitchen is stylish and well organised with the dining table with seating for four conveniently positioned next to it. After tucking into a homemade meal, sink into the plump sofas in the spacious lounge area with the patio doors open to let the outside in. Upstairs is a family bathroom and two bedrooms – a double and a super-king-size zip and link, which can be made into a twin on request. Outside, you can dine alfresco on the furniture which sits on the gravel and paved garden.

Stroll around the town of Seaton and discover the art gallery, gardens and Seaton Tramway – which is home to half-scale replicas of vintage electric tram cars (all within 0.5 miles). Swim in the sea at the pebble Seaton Beach (0.5 miles), which spans over a mile in length and dine by the shores at a traditional pub. Cross the historical Axmouth Bridge and head into the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty along the South West Coast Path to the dramatic Haven Cliffs (1 mile).

  • 2 bedrooms – 1 super-king-size (can be converted to a twin on request), 1 double
  • 1 bathroom with shower over the bath and WC, and a separate WC
  • Electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, delonghi coffee machine
  • TV
  • Please bring your own beach towels
  • Travel cot & high chair available on request at additional charge
  • Enclosed garden
  • Allocated parking for one large or two small cars. Cars would be parked one behind each other.
  • Shop, pub and beach within 0.5 miles
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00

Very clean property, so ideal for all amenities. Tesco, pubs and beach and Trams allt in walking distance are such a boon. Our third time staying, so love the place.

A tastefully decorated and convenient holiday let with a generous welcome pack and close to all amenities (Tescos almost next door!) We didnt use the car all week, either walking to Axmouth and Beer or catching buses further afield to Lyme Regis and Sidmouth, also a tram ride to Colyton.

Spotlessly clean and tidy. Decor is nice and the property is very cosy & comfortable. Great location with an easy walk into the town centre. The beds were the most comfortable ones we have ever encountered in a holiday let. The description of parking for 2 cars maybe should stress 2 SMALL cars and point out that its one behind the other. Lovely comfortable place to stay, sorry we only had four nights here. We will definitely be back. Welcome tray of wine, crisps and biscuits was very thoughtful. Beautiful house that my family spent the half term on. Located right next to a major supermarket which is very helpful. The company even set up the twin beds for us, instead of having to figure it out ourselves. Loved walking into tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Just what was needed after heavy traffic on the motorway. Thanks all.

The overall property and location was very good, nice house and facilities. Upon arrival it would have been useful to have an ariel view of the property with detailed directions to the parking area and rear garden. The central heating thermostate was complicated to adjust. Good Holiday :)

Property maintained to very high specification, and so close to beach and Town and Tescos, we did not need to use the car. I would stay again.
