Located in the gateway town to the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Jurassic Coast, this bright and contemporary property is an excellent base for a small family or couple who are seeking a classic British seaside break. Soft furnishings and large patio doors which let the fresh air roll in creates a comfortable and relaxing open-plan living space for socialising after a day of exploring the town of Seaton and beyond. You’ll be spoilt for choice with beaches nearby and scenic walking paths through the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
When you enter the property, you’ll find yourself in the crisp, neutral-toned lounge/kitchen/diner, which has a gentle coastal theme throughout. The farmhouse-style kitchen is stylish and well organised with the dining table with seating for four conveniently positioned next to it. After tucking into a homemade meal, sink into the plump sofas in the spacious lounge area with the patio doors open to let the outside in. Upstairs is a family bathroom and two bedrooms – a double and a super-king-size zip and link, which can be made into a twin on request. Outside, you can dine alfresco on the furniture which sits on the gravel and paved garden.
Stroll around the town of Seaton and discover the art gallery, gardens and Seaton Tramway – which is home to half-scale replicas of vintage electric tram cars (all within 0.5 miles). Swim in the sea at the pebble Seaton Beach (0.5 miles), which spans over a mile in length and dine by the shores at a traditional pub. Cross the historical Axmouth Bridge and head into the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty along the South West Coast Path to the dramatic Haven Cliffs (1 mile).
