Whether you're looking for a family getaway, a place to unwind after a day on Woolacombe or Croyde beach, stunning landscapes to explore, or a fully equipped kitchen to cook up a storm — Barton Farm has it all, with a pretty garden and hot tub to relax in after a day of adventure.

The hallway leads through to the living room, where three large, sumptuous sofas and a selection of chairs sit beneath exposed beams, creating a warm and relaxing space to unwind. The feature focal point of the room is the inglenook fireplace housing a wood burner which is perfect for cool winter evenings. Oozing country style and character is the kitchen with an island in the centre of the room and a dining table seating ten, creating a fantastic social space for all. Completing the ground floor is a utility room and a downstairs WC. All four bedrooms can be found on the first floor, starting with the king-size master bedroom which has a luxe golden glow and an en-suite shower room. There are a further two king-size bedrooms, as well as a twin room, all stylishly decorated. Last but not least is a bathroom with both a bathtub and shower cubicle. Step outside and the lawned garden welcomes you with a selection of pretty plants, a quaint pond and a patio seating area. In addition, long summer evenings can be spent toasting marshmallows on the fire pit or gazing at the stars from the warmth of the hot tub. (Please note: The hot tub is included for a 7 night stay April - September. A £150 supplement applies October to March and for shorter stays. 

Pack a picnic and spend the day at Braunton Burrows (8 miles) where you can stroll through the dunes, soak up the fresh air, and wander over to Saunton Beach for a dip in the sea. Alternatively, join a stretch of the South West Coast Path from Woolacombe (4 miles) for a wonderful day of walking where you’ll find plenty of places to stop off along the way. Two such places include Morte Point (2 miles) and Lee (4 miles), two picture-perfect villages found en route to Ilfracombe (6 miles). Located within the North Devon Surf Reserve, it’s an excellent place to learn how to catch a wave or brush up on your skills, with Woolacombe (4 miles), Croyde (6 miles), and Saunton (6 miles) all within easy reach of your holiday home.

This is a beautiful cottage with well laid out rooms to sleep 8 people and the master bedroom with en-suite is very spacious. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and separate shower. The kitchen/dining area also has plenty of room and plenty of cutlery and glasses etc. There is the Crown Inn 5 min walk away in the village which is very welcoming Read moreand serves vry good food, although not every night, you need to check. A lovely home from home. Well equipped, beautifully presented and plenty of room for us and our grown up children to spend some time together, but also not get under each others feet. Great outdoor space and the hot tub was fabulous. A beautiful modern large cottage with plenty of room for a family of 6, together with a toddler and a dog. Everything we needed was provided and the hot tub was lovely and warm.

What a great place to stay! There were 4 adults and 3 children staying for an amazing week over Easter. The location was perfect for us to explore north Devon and the village of West Down is great with outdoor spaces for children to play, a shop and a pub serving delicious food. Barton Farm is a great place to stay - it is very clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable. It has a lovely, enclosed garden overlooked by the church tower! Lovely cottage, very spacious. Delightful village setting. Useful community shop and excellent pub serving food just down the road. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely go back.
