Larkrise is the perfect place to stay with family and friends. It is set in an elevated position at the end of a quiet road at the top of Kingswear with beautiful river views  stretching over to Dartmouth and the Royal Naval College. Within walking distance downhill to the quaint village of Kingswear, you will find the Dartmouth Steam Railway, two pubs, a café and a shop. From here can get the lower ferry across the Dart River to the historic town of Dartmouth with its award winning restaurants, cafes, art galleries and shops. There are a number of beaches along the coastline. Kayaking and paddle boarding available nearby and some beautiful walks along the coast path and the Dart Valley Trail.

Or why not try something a little different, from Kingswear take a trip on the steam train to Paignton, along the River Dart. Explore Paignton's superb golden sand beaches and a mouth-watering selection of seafront eateries and the bustling marine activities. 

Cosy and full of charm, this large and luxurious property is located in an idyllic part of the South Devon coast. Boasting panoramic views from the terrace and garden and a warming wood burner in the living room, the property offers a great escape at all times of the year. With easy access to the South West Coast Path, days can be spent trekking through rugged landscapes surrounded by natural beauty, stopping off at quaint seaside towns and villages en route to refuel with ice cream.

The ground floor is a gorgeous space which is perfectly suited to family gatherings with a selection of sumptuous seating in the living room surrounded by warm hues of blue, exposed stone and plenty of home comforts including a wood burner. Next door is the kitchen/diner which is an unusual shape, filled with natural light through the windows and skylight. There is a kitchen island in the centre of the room for gathering around and also a dining table seating six located through an archway from the kitchen. Walk up the spiral staircase to the first floor to find a double bedroom and a bathroom, then up a second staircase to find the stylish second double bedroom as well as a bunk room. The third floor features a family shower room which completes the property. You can catch a sunset on the terrace outside or enjoy an evening dining alfresco with a magnificent view to set the scene.

Fantastic location with stunning views across the harbour. Very cosy but spacious at the same time with everything you need and more. Would recommend!!

A great cottage that served us really well. The views from the decked balcony and the back bedrooms was just fabulous! Beware that the cottage is positioned at the top of a fairly steep hill and is quite a climb. The house would be difficult for those with mobility issues.
