Lovely house in an amazing ing setting very clean inside. Unfortunately we couldnt see the view from inside as the windows hadnt been cleaned for ages. Ive never been to a house where you couldnt see the view. The outside was generally quite tatty with weeds, dead plants and bags of rubbish etc as if they couldnt be bothered to maintain it. InsidRead moree was immaculate though. There is a big sign at the bottom of the stairs saying NO PETS BEYOND THIS POINT but the property is advertised as pet friendly and no reference to this rule when booking it before arrival. The owner phoned me on arrival day to verbally give orders regarding pets and rubbish. I mentioned the windows on arrival day but unfortunately they couldnt be cleaned till the following week. I know it sounds petty but not being able to appreciate the amazing view was quite a let down and a surprise. But Im sure this will be sorted at some point. Also no normal size bath towels and only one tea towel. Just a note. We had a fabulous week here in Ilfracoombe Hide

The interior of the house is great, well equipped, very comfortable and spacious. And the view over the harbour is exceptional and is a great selling point for the whole house. Just watching the daily comings and goings of the fishermen, and RNLI was fascinating and made it all worthwhile. We were fortunate enough for local entertainment in the weeRead morek that we stayed there, in the first weekend we had a Sea Shanty festival in all the local pubs and surrounding harbour streets too. Then on the last weekend we had Morris Dancers, all of which the grandkids really loved and joined in with. All well worth the trip. Hide

St Agnes was lovely, perfect for our multi-generational family trip. The rooms were spacious and the facilities were to a high standard. Whilst access to the house was via steps, this didnt hinder us. And the location right in the harbour was fabulous. We have visited Ilfracombe several times previously but it was lovely to have the place to ourselRead moreves at this quieter time of year. This also made parking much easier and cheaper. All in all the property was perfect for our needs and we would recommend any larger group/family stay here at any time of year. Hide

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at St Agnes. Beautiful house with luxury touches in a great location. The host was extremely helpful on the first day, checking to make sure all was okay. The highlight was the sea views from all bedrooms, we all had a very relaxing stay.

A lovely position overlooking the working harbour. Good comfortable bed and fluffy towers. Catering equipment for 10 requires juggling. Plenty of space for 10.
