This lovely house offers three versatile bedrooms in a great location in the charming village of Colyton. You can even bring the dog. Thoughtfully kitted out, this home-from-home offers laid-back interiors with a contemporary aesthetic, crisp lines and some quirky touches. But, most importantly, it’s welcoming and comfortable for your extended family or friends. The largely open-plan downstairs works brilliantly with room to be together – and alone. Kids and the dog will adore the large lawned garden. This house is perfectly placed for day trips to a variety of locations along the nearby Jurassic Coast.
Bright and modern, the spacious downstairs is an L-shaped open-plan dream. The sleek kitchen is big and well-equipped for holiday feasts, with a light-filled dining room. The table is next to French doors leading to the deck and garden. There is a snug lounge with sumptuous sofa seating and a TV, and an additional lounge area with easy chairs around a cosy wood burner. A handy boot room and utility area are bonus touches, especially with a dog in tow. For sleeping, there’s two inviting double bedrooms with pretty, individual decor plus a bunk bedroom children will adore! Outside, hang out en masse or play games into the evening on the furnished decked area and a large expanse of lawn.
Explore the surrounding East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on foot or by car, with many walks right from your doorstep. If the coast calls, there’s something for everyone. Indulge in arcade fun and sandy shenanigans at Lyme Regis (7 miles). Adjacent Charmouth (11 miles) is the place for long beach walks. Beer (5 miles) is beautiful, but the beach has big pebbles that can be tricky for walking. For sightseeing with a difference, take the Seaton Tramway from Colyton to Seaton and back.
