Escape to the laid-back coastal village of Croyde in the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with your family, a small group of friends plus one furry companion. Relax in the sociable open-plan living space with bright interiors and a hint of a coastal theme. Swim, surf and sunbathe on the surrounding beaches and explore the cliff-top walking routes with panoramic views.
Step inside and find yourself in the open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner with French doors which open up onto the garden. To one side of the room is a comfortable sofa in front of the SmatTV. Continue across the room to reach the wooden dining table with chairs for four and into the ‘L’-shaped kitchen area with glossy units and plenty of surface space for cooking a special meal for your loved ones. There is also a useful utility room, a contemporary family bathroom plus two bedrooms – a double and twin. Outside is a fully enclosed garden with a private patio.
While staying in the North Devonshire village of Croyde, you can start your day with a stroll to the sandy, dune-backed Croyde Beach (1 mile) – which is canine-friendly between October and April. Head north along the South West Coast Path to reach the rugged headland of National Trust Baggy Point (2.5 miles) where you’ll find swooping seabirds and views of the sea. Beyond here is Putsborough Beach (1.5 miles) which has no restrictions on four-legged friends. In the opposite direction is the expansive Saunton Sands beach (2 miles), which borders Crow Point Nature Reserve (6 miles).
