Beach, just a couple of miles away (2 miles).

Beautifully finished with a light colour scheme and original features throughout, this grand property is sure to impress. Enjoy the social hub of the kitchen/diner, where hardwood flooring and plenty of natural light enhance the space. The kitchen is well equipped for getting creative at mealtimes, and the farmhouse-style breakfast table makes for effortless dining. Also on this floor, the fantastic lounge is a spot to retire to, home to comfy seating and a wood burner. On the upper floors, four fabulous bedrooms feature beautiful river views, comfy bedding and plenty of space to unpack and unwind. Outside, a private, enclosed garden elevates your stay throughout the summer months, complete with a lockable shed filled with wetsuits and beach gear that you’re welcome to use.

Set off and explore the cobbled streets of Appledore, enjoying quayside pubs, shops, galleries and the North Devon Maritime Museum, all within half a mile. Across the water, take the passenger ferry to Instow (1 mile), a village filled with similar intrigue and the delightful sandy shores of Instow Beach. Visit the gardens and tearoom at Tapeley Park Gardens (2 miles) when the sun shines, or head towards Abbotsham to let children run off some steam at The BIG Sheep attraction (4 miles).
