Forget about everything else and lose yourself in the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty during your stay with five other human guests and two four-legged friends in this tranquil and stylish barn conversion with characterful original features – like vaulted wooden-beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. Spend your time away exploring the nearby sandy beaches, scenic cliff-top walking trails and quaint villages.
Walk across the slate floor in the entrance hall to reach the living room with a bohemian-style feel, two large sofas, a SmartTV and a wood burner inside an exposed brick inglenook fireplace. Continue into the kitchen/diner to find another sofa and wood burner next to bi-folding glass doors which open onto the decking. Next to this is a wooden dining table and a spacious neutral-toned ‘G’-shaped kitchen with a breakfast bar and contemporary lighting. There is also a utility room on the ground floor. Upstairs is a family bathroom plus three bedrooms – a king-size with a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite, a double and a single. Outside is a raised terraced area with a lawn, an uncovered pond, plus furniture.
During your stay in the sleepy, picturesque village of Lincombe near Ilfracombe you’ll be surrounded by countryside, cliff-top coastal paths and secluded coves – like the dog-friendly Lee Bay Beaches (1.5 miles). The small village of Lee (1 mile) has a traditional, canine-friendly pub if you fancy a night off from cooking. Visit Sandy Cove (1.5 miles) and follow the coastal path to Bull Point Lighthouse (2.5 miles) and Rockham Beach (3 miles). The harbour town of Ilfracombe is 2 miles away and is full of seafood restaurants and shops.
Please note: Lincombe Manor is next to Lincombe Barn and share the same site, so ideal to book both properties for larger parties.
