This romantic bolthole is an adult-only property and enjoys a prime position in the centre of Salcombe. On your doorstep, you’ll find a stunning collection of fine-dining restaurants, boutiques, and galleries to explore. The area is a haven for water sports enthusiasts, with a choice of sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and much more from the town. At the end of an action-packed day, return to your cosy abode to snuggle on the sofa or toast to a great holiday on the sunny terrace.
Salcombe Town Regatta takes place every year for one week in late July/early August. Events on and in the water include sailing, rowing and raft races, and the famous harbour swim. Land-based events include the fun run and cycling.
A flight of steps leads to the terrace and into the unique cottage. Once inside, discover an open-plan haven, with striking exposed woodwork and a quirky seaside theme. Snuggle up on the comfortable sofa to watch TV or rustle up a romantic dinner for two in the kitchen, to share at the cute breakfast bar. A stylish bathroom completes the ground floor. A floating, wooden staircase leads to the mezzanine bedroom overlooking the lounge area. Here, you’ll find an inviting double bed set under a fabulous beamed, apex ceiling (just watch out for the restricted head height in some areas). Outside, pour yourself a glass of wine and catch the last of the afternoon sun on the private terrace to the front of the cottage.
