Head to the family favourite of Shoalstone (1 mile) for a dip in the seawater pool, the sheltered cove at Fishcombe (0.5 miles) to escape the crowds, or Breakwater Beach (1 mile) for a spot of scuba diving. Nature lovers will enjoy a jaunt around Berry Head National Nature Reserve (1.5 miles), where you’ll find a collection of rare wildlife set against a stunning coastal backdrop. From the cottage, take day trips to Dartmouth, Torquay, and Paignton (all within 10 miles).
