Set high above Woolacombe, this magnificent coastal retreat for five boasts far-reaching sea views and easy access to one of North Devon’s finest beaches. A 0.5-mile stroll brings you to the village, where you’ll find a great selection of eateries, as well as a 3-mile sandy beach. In the evenings, make the most of the stunning location, with al fresco meals and sunset drinks on the terrace.

Shallow steps lead from the parking area to the property. Inside, the holiday home is flooded with natural light, thanks to large windows framing sea and countryside views. A beautiful lounge provides the perfect place to unwind, watching the Smart TV or reading in the raised area by the window. The sleek kitchen has everything you need for a self-catering holiday and a breakfast bar for informal dining. There’s also a handy utility room. Next, you’ll find the light-filled dining room, with seating for everyone and French doors opening onto the terrace. To the rear of the house is a cute snug with a second Smart TV. All three bedrooms are beautifully decorated, and one has an en-suite shower room. A family shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, discover a choice of dining areas, including a terrace with sea views and two sheltered patios (one accessed via steps). There’s also a large, enclosed lawn where children can play.

Enjoy a day trip to the Victorian town of Ilfracombe (5.5 miles). Potter around the picturesque harbour, or head down to the idyllic Tunnels Beaches, where you’ll find sheltered bathing areas and a tidal pool. Regular boat trips run from the harbour, including to the wildlife haven of Lundy Island. If it’s peace and tranquillity you’re after, journey to Exmoor National Park (6 miles), to explore the expansive moorland, wooded valleys, and dramatic clifftop paths.

We had a fabulous time staying at Bellacombe - the property was so much bigger and brighter than we expected, and they had almost every amenity you need for a very comfortable stay. The location was great, only a 10 minute walk to the beach (although the hill back is a bit tough!) and we enjoyed sitting outside with a view of the sea and hills. It Read morewas great for a toddler, with lots of safe space for running around, and great that a cot, high chair and stair gate were all provided for us. Would definitely recommend! Hide

We had difficulties because the heating was set far too low by the owner, who controls the heating via an app from home, but it was sorted out the next day. It was far to cold in the early morning and evening because everything is open, and in the bathroom too. The toilets were dirty and in places there was still hair from the previous tenant. But Read morewhen everything cleaned by us and the heating worked, we were able to enjoy our holiday. The appliances and the equipment are very good. The location is quiet and the view is fantastic. Dinner on the terrace with a view of the sea was wonderful. It is a good base for exploring the area. Hide

Fabulous property with absolutely everything you need. Wonderful views. Great sitting out area for 'Al Fresco' for meals and sun lounging. Lovely local walks and places to visit and handy for Woolacombe centre. We have thoroughly enjoyed this clean, spacious holiday home and all the little extras provided. You have thought of everything.

What a fabulous holiday we have had - the house is amazing & so thoughtfully presented & equipped - there is literally EVERYTHING needed to relax with the family. We found great walks & beaches & enjoyed the sun briefly. Great sea swims everyday... thank you to the owner for providing such a fantastic holiday house - we will defo book again!
