This welcoming bungalow is on the outskirts of Brixham, in a peaceful residential area. The property sleeps four guests and makes a great couples’ retreat or base for a small family. The town’s vibrant harbour is 2 miles away and you’ll have some fantastic beaches nearby, including the idyllic St Mary’s Bay (1.5 miles), with its turquoise waters and towering cliffs. In the evenings, toast marshmallows around the firepit and admire the rooftop views across the town.

The single-storey cottage is reached via a flight of steps. Inside, you’ll find a contemporary holiday home, with sleek furniture and homely touches throughout. The spacious lounge is a fabulous place to unwind, with a huge picture window looking out across the town. Sit back and admire the view, or settle down for a movie night around the TV. To the rear of the property is a kitchen/diner, where you can rustle up tasty feasts and share memorable mealtimes together. The property has two bedrooms – a king-size and a twin – as well as a stylish shower room. The enclosed garden is accessed via the kitchen and is arranged across three levels, and features a patio for al fresco dining, grassed area for playing games, and a fire pit. The garden backs onto a paddock which houses two horses.

Brixham is full of English charm, with a bustling harbour, cute boutiques and galleries, and a fantastic choice of places to eat, many serving fresh seafood. The area is home to a vast array of beaches, from secluded coves such as Fishcombe, to the family-friendly beaches of Breakwater and Shoalstone (all within 2 miles). From the harbour, you can hop on the ferry to Paignton, where you can spend the day at the zoo or get the adrenaline pumping at the UK’s largest outdoor waterpark.

In the months of May through to November why not attend one of the many events and festivals in the area like the Brixham Pirate Festival, England's Seafood Feast, Lanterns lights & 'luminations, Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Dartmouth Food Festival, Torbay Air Show, Teignmouth Air show, Devon County Show.

A lovely place to stay in sunny Brixham. Fantastic views from the picture windows, a fully enclosed rear area, just right for our little dog.

This house was generally well equipped with comfortable beds & lovely towels. Good kitchen equipment but could do with all essentials ,though could do with a smaller casserole &/or microwavable bowl. The house is about a mile & a half from the harbour & the road quite narrow. The garden was tidy though the lawn quite steep, so not for ball games!Read more There are 20-30 steps to the entrance of the bungalow. For us the main negative issue was the very uncomfortable sofa in the lounge, though the armchairs were fine. Hide
