The local area is a great place for dog walking too, with the South West Coastal Path offering some fabulous coastal walks right on the doorstep. Follow one of the nature trails, do a spot of bird watching on the river or try your hand at one of the water sports on offer. If you fancy exploring further, hop on one of the regular ferries across the River Teign to explore Teignmouth. The lively attractions of Torquay are within 8 miles, while Dartmoor (12 miles) offers a dynamic day out for walking, mountain biking, wild swimming and extreme sports.
