This was a really lovely cottage that was kept clean with comfortable beds. We really liked how spacious the house felt. It was really close to a pebble beach and cafe. The kitchen was well equipped and had no problem cooking meals. There were a few niggles with the internet and TV but these didnt spoil our stay.

Beautiful cottage, everything we needed and dog friendly. The house is decorated to a high standard, Spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything you could need and a small enclosure garden for dog to use. A nice welcome pack that was well appreciated, thank you Just a short walk to the beach, the beach has a lovely cRead moreafe and we enjoyed breakfast rolls while watching the sea, between 1st of May to September the beach area in front of the cafe has a no dog policy, but if you walk along the sea wall to the other end dogs are allowed all year round. The road the cottage is in, you can do a nice circular walk. Walk to the top of the road, there is a woodland walk, if you follow the paths to the other side of the wood, There is a large field for them to enjoy off lead, then down to the dog friendly beach area then along the sea wall back to the cottage . You can also cross the road from the cottage follow the signs to daddyhole, there is a nice grassy area for dogs then you can walk the coastal path into Torquay, there it are a few steps going down along the path, and i would keep dogs on lead, but its worth it for the views the path comes out near the harbour cafes. So plenty of choices for a cuppa or stronger beverage. We then walked along the harbour through the town and walked back to the cottage along meadfoot road . We also visited the model Village, a few national trust House and Gardens, dogs welcome in the garden, they enjoy the dog biscuits treats given then by staff. I can highly recommend Cockington a beautiful country park, with walks around the lakes and a lovely garden in the pub to enjoy a meal or drink I would highly recommend Beach Mews cottage, so much to do in the area ,Hubby never had to drive longer than 30mins to get to place's, we hope to visit again soon Hide

Beach Mews is a fabulous property, spotlessly clean and comfortable with secure parking. A five minute walk to Meadfoot Beach and ten minutes into town. Torquay is a beautiful place for a relaxing holiday.

The scores speak for themselves, A very good spacious, dog friendly town house in a very good location. reasonably close to town centre, enclosed adequate rear yard. Torquay is well located to enable visiting numerous other seaside towns and villages.

This property was very comfortable and spacious, and was ideally situated for exploring the local area. We did day trips to Pennywell Farm, Paignton Zoo and Cockington Court - all within an easy drive. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. The house was all very clean on our arrival.

We really enjoyed our stay and it was perfect location for what we needed and already have recommended others. A few points to mention, I am sure it was in the information that there was a PlayStation 2 somewhere. It didnt matter to us as my son could do with the break but some may be expecting it. We used the extractor fan in kitchen and this realRead morely could do with a deep clean as it made the whole house smell fatty. The TV remote was very intermittent even after changing batteries. These are not major comments and we were out most of the time so really didnt matter. Thank you. Hide
