Situated in one of Torquay’s premier spots, close to the Regency grandeur of Hesketh Crescent, this charming, two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is perfect for a beach break in style. It’s a great option for families or a group of friends who are looking for a beautiful character townhouse with restaurants, shops and the beach in easy reach. Spend your days soaking up the sun on the beautiful Meadfoot Beach before returning to this comfortable base to dine alfresco in the pretty garden.

This contemporary home offers generous accommodation with refined décor throughout. The heart of the home is the stylish living room with cream leather sofas and a large flat-screen TV – a great setting for relaxed film nights after days out on the English Riviera. Behind this room is the modern open-plan kitchen/dining room, which in turn leads out to the sunny private courtyard. Step out here in the morning to enjoy your coffee on the patio table, or enjoy catching some rays when the sun shines. Upstairs, the two bedrooms – a king-size and a twin room – are beautifully furnished and share the family bathroom.

The cottage is in a perfect location for getting out and about and exploring everything the bustling coastal resort town of Torquay has to offer. Wander through Lincombe Woods and along the South West Coast Path to the award-winning Meadfoot Beach (within 0.5 miles) with its glistening water and pretty rows of beach huts. Those who enjoy dining out can book a table at one of the nearby restaurants along Hesketh Crescent. Further into Torquay, you’ll find boat charters, dolphin trips, a vibrant palm tree-lined marina and a historical visitor centre (all within 1.5 miles).

Good location in a quiet area but still only a 15 minute walk into the town and only 5 minutes to Meadfoot beach. Property is very comfortable and homely with everything you need included. Private parking space is a bonus. Would definitely recommend, though the location is in a hilly area which could be a problem to some.

We were very pleased with this property which was clean and comfortable. It was well appointed and equipped and the beds were comfortable. The off street parking was very welcome. We will book the property next time we are in Torbay.

Wonderful comfortable warm cosy cottage in a fab location a stones throw from meadfoot beach. Where there is lovely little cafe open most of the day. Also lovely walks like daddy hole plain. A full size fridge freezer which is great for self catering. There is also basics like bin bags, dishwasher tablets etc provided. The beds are comfy. Plenty of nice fluffy towels too. Lovely location, easy to walk into Torquay (although uphill on the way home). Really comfy house and quiet location; we could hear owls at night. Having the parking was brilliant.

This was a really lovely cottage that was kept clean with comfortable beds. We really liked how spacious the house felt. It was really close to a pebble beach and cafe. The kitchen was well equipped and had no problem cooking meals. There were a few niggles with the internet and TV but these didnt spoil our stay.
