Escape to the picturesque English Riviera in this delightful holiday home on the outskirts of Torquay. Sleeping four guests, the property is perfect for friends and families seeking a relaxing break exploring the south coast. You’ll have some stunning walks on your doorstep, including a footpath leading to the idyllic Anstey’s Cove. In the evenings, venture into the town centre (1 mile) to wander around the bustling harbour and dine in one of the many independent restaurants.

The charming, end-of-terrace cottage is decorated in a classic style, with neutral walls, wooden floorboards, and chic furniture. The ground floor is open plan, with a statement sofa and armchair arranged around a Smart TV, an attractive kitchen, and a breakfast bar with four bar stools. The two inviting bedrooms are upstairs: choose from a king-size with an en-suite bathroom and a bright and breezy double. A family shower room rounds off this fabulous holiday home. There is no outside space, but with the beach and park are just a short stroll away, it’s easy to find a quiet spot to admire the scenery and soak up the sea air.

Pack a picnic and stride out along the footpath to Anstey’s Cove (0.5 miles), where you’ll find a small, shingle beach with jaw-dropping views. The beach is accessed via a steep path and rarely gets crowded, even in the height of summer. Alternatively, head to the family-friendly golden sands of Oddicombe Beach (2 miles), where you can hire a beach hut, ride on the cliff railway, and try a whole host of water sports. Nearby attractions include Babbacombe Model Village (1.5 miles) and Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves (300 metres).

We absolutely loved our stay the whole holiday the location. The cottage its self was beautiful and clean. We also left the cottage nice and clean.

Firstly the ease of booking and good prices and helpfulness of staff I spoke to and the property itself was perfect and absolutely spotless it had all we needed, any instructions regarding use of white goods etc were all to hand the beds were so comfortable too and great that there was parking also near public transport and walkable distance to shRead moreops and entertainment and beach I would highly recommend this property.
