The beach is accessed via a steep path and rarely gets crowded, even in the height of summer. Alternatively, head to the family-friendly golden sands of Oddicombe Beach (2 miles), where you can hire a beach hut, ride on the cliff railway, and try a whole host of water sports. Nearby attractions include Babbacombe Model Village (1.5 miles) and Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves (300 metres).
