Sofas are positioned around a Smart TV meaning you’ll always have something to watch as the night draws in, however, you may prefer to simply crack open a bottle and watch the flickering fire. There’s a dining table in here for mealtimes, as well as a patio table and charcoal BBQ out in the garden for summertime dining. Of course, meals can be prepared in the kitchen on the ground floor. Both bedrooms and a family bathroom are also situated downstairs, so feel free to retire whenever you get tired. The larger of the bedrooms is a lovely family room with a double and a single and the second bedroom is a pleasant double.
The cottage is situated in the pretty countryside on the outskirts of Great Torrington (6 miles), a scenic market town and a superb place from which to embark on some Devonshire adventures. The RHS Garden Rosemoor is a splendid attraction 5.5 miles away, situated on the banks of the River Torridge where lovely waterside walks can be enjoyed. Famous for its remarkable coastline and splendid surf, North Devon is also awash with pristine beaches. Visit Westward Ho! (13.5 miles) or Peppercombe Beach (12 miles), each connected by a picturesque coastal path.
