Take a family holiday in a gorgeous corner of North Devon. Westward Ho! is a charming village with everything you might need for a group of mixed ages and their dogs. You’ll be 50 metres from the beach, a great spot for surfing, paddling and sandcastles.
This property is a bungalow, with plenty of room for your group. Enter to find a kitchen/diner, sociable and well-equipped with a breakfast bar, full dining table and sliding glass doors to give a view of the garden. Continue to the lounge, a comfortable space where you’ll see matching sliding glass doors. There’s a family bathroom with a deep bath so you can soak after a surf. You’ll have three bedrooms: a super-king with an en-suite and two flexible rooms which can either be made up as Superkings or twins, as you choose. One of these also has an en-suite. There’s a rear garden, enclosed by a wooden fence, where your children and dogs can play on the lawn then trot to the patio for meals on the outdoor furniture.
Any surfer would love this property because of its proximity to the beach. If you’re a beginner, or need to hire equipment, there are surf schools around to help you out with whatever you need. Some also have paddleboard's and kayaks. If you prefer sea views, amble over to the Royal North Devon Golf Club (1 mile) to play a round, or explore Northam Burrows Country Park (1 mile), a SSSI with marshes and plenty of wildlife. Make sure you visit the Westward Ho! Sea Pool, just under 0.5 miles, for a swim with beautiful views.
