Set on a south-facing slope amid North Devon countryside, the interiors of this two-storey holiday home are every bit as enchanting as its surroundings. Exposed beamed ceilings, wooden and slate floors, and sloping ceilings add character and charm. Underfloor heating, an electric car charger and high-quality fixtures and fittings ensure you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy sociable evenings filling the air with laughter and chatter in the open-plan living space. With a double range oven, the spacious kitchen is a dream to prepare meals in; dine inside or out with a dining table inside and a large table on the patio. Savour cosy evenings in the lounge, wood burner crackling on chilly days, settle in the sunroom with the bi-fold doors thrown open to admire the view, or sip a nightcap around the fire pit watching the stars in this Dark Sky Reserve. The sheltered bay at Coombe Martin (6 miles) is perfect for paddleboarding, kayaking and rock pooling, whereas Woolacoombe and Putsborough (both within 13.5 miles) are great for catching a wave or two. Lovers of historic homes will be delighted to visit Arlington Court (3 miles).

What a wonderful holiday home. Beautifully built and equipped with no expense spared. Everything is here. The hosts live next door, and are a delight. Available but not intrusive. We really enjoyed staying at The Tallet.

The Tallet is an exceptional property, it's setting is stunning with uninterrupted views over the hills and is ever so peaceful. The barn is spotlessly clean, modern, and spacious, it has everything you could possibly want from equipment to comfort, nothing has been forgotten. This property is really rural and so a lovely quiet getaway. Its not far from Combe Martin, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Saunton Sands and we were able to visit all easily in October half term. The house is really well stocked with all sorts that you may need during your stay. The only thing we could think of that would have been useful was a clothesRead more horse / airer I think youll manage to find everything else helpfully provided! This is a spacious property and we managed well as a family group of 6 adults and 2 babies. We used the map provided to walk on the farm land around the property which is very hilly and so quite the adventure! One of our family members met one of the owners a few times as he was out and about and he was really friendly. We really enjoyed our break at The Tallet and would recommend it to anyone! Hide

Had the most amazing holiday break at The Tallet. The Home Owners are a delight and super friendly. The Tallet is absolutely gorgeous and very well equipped to a high standard. Ideal for lovely walks and we ventured to Coombe Martin to the Dinosaur park and the beach. Had a lovely walk around Arlington Court which is well worth a visit.
