The village itself has plenty of shops and eateries to choose from or you can simply settle yourself in the evening and watch the sun set. For explorers, the South West Coast Path is on your doorstep; you can marvel at the spectacular views or try spotting the seals along the coastline. Other attractions and places of interest include Exmoor National Park (13 miles), the fascinating coastal villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, linked by a funicular railway (21 miles), or the harbour town of Ilfracombe with its boat trips and aquarium – just 6 miles distant.
