Lovely house - nice size for all the family. Really close to the beach/town of Lyme Regis. Well-equipped with everything you need for your stay. 2 bathrooms and downstairs toilet a bonus when staying with all the family. Lovely comfy beds and sofas. Large garden - children loved playing out in it. We dont enjoy parking on the driveway as it waRead mores very sloped so we parked on the main road which suited us just fine. The beach is down a steep slope - fine for us as we are active and we didnt have to battle to find parking. WiFi included/TV was an added bonus with children. House was homely, clean and peaceful. We had a lovely week - thank you! Hide

Springdale worked very well for us for our family Christmas - ie. two parents plus 4 others in their 30's. There was a lovely artificial Christmas tree there already with lights and decorations to put our presents around and the kitchen is fairly well equipped so the festive cooking worked out well too. To clarify expectations, there's an inductioRead moren hob, a standard electric oven and a microwave. There's also a second (under the counter fridge) in the utility room which provided useful drinks storage space. It's an unusual layout of rooms with several flights of 4 steps between different levels and rooms. We were all fine with this but worth noting if you've any mobility issues. The location is ideal - close enough to Lyme to walk there and back (assuming you're OK with a steep hill) and some lovely places to eat along the beach too. It's also easy to get out from Lyme and do some delightful cliff walking as well and was a great place for our sunny Christmas 2025! Hide

The property and facilities are excellent. Charming house and we really enjoyed our stay. The house is at the top of a fairly steep hill. We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, very spacious, comfortable and well- equipped cottage with far- reaching views and a beautiful garden. The only drawback was that our car grounded because of the different slopes of the pavement and the drive. Parking was tricky. We booked before there were any reviews mentioning that the cottage is near the toRead morep of a very steep hill that comes up from the sea. That should have been mentioned in the overview. We managed the climb but it took some time! Hide

A lovely old thatched roof property - set in lovely grounds at the top of a hill. Great location for us as we are an active family and were quite happy walking back up the hill after walking to the beach / harbour. The house is large and has great facilities and the showers fantastic.

A good property but let down by poor cleanliness and lack of basic household kitchen/bathroom soaps/dishcloths/washing up liquid etc. We had a good time, but would not recommend to anyone unless the maintenance is improved.
