Start the day with a coffee in the kitchen/dining room, where the wall of windows open onto the balcony, the perfect spot for celebratory meals. Relax and watch a movie in the lounge with the wood burner roaring, there’s also a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room on the ground floor. The lower ground floor houses the second lounge, with doors to the deck and hot tub, and a PlayStation, and four of the bedrooms, two kings, a double, and a twin bedroom, as well as a wet room, a family bathroom, and the utility room. The sixth bedroom, a luxurious king with an en-suite shower room, is on the first floor, along with the games room, where you can enjoy some family rivalry playing table tennis and pool. Head outside to the balcony with a drink in hand, relax in the 10-people wood-burning hot tub, and play with the dogs and kids on the huge lawn. Fire up the BBQ, dine al fresco and challenge each other to a game of tennis.

Play a round of golf at St Mellion (2 miles), visit the National Trust Cotehele House and Gardens (6 miles), spend a day exploring Plymouth (10 miles) and visiting the local beaches at Portwinkle (12 miles) and Tregantle beach (14 miles), popular swimming spots. Wander around the quaint fishing villages of Looe (15 miles) and Polperro (20 miles).

Location was great. Very comfortable. Amazing views. A few minor details would transform this property from good to amazing.
