This spacious period house in the centre of Lynmouth is ideal for a relaxing getaway with friends or family. Overlooking the River Lyn, it has four gorgeous bedrooms, an enclosed courtyard with a BBQ, a handy ground floor shower room, and the beach, riverside walks, and Exmoor are on your doorstep.

The cottage is spread over three floors with bold, eye-catching style throughout and makes a unique property to stay in. Step into the bright and welcoming hall and go through to the lounge, with space for you to relax together with the wood burner roaring and the TV on. Grab a chilled bottle from the wine fridge and prepare delicious meals on the electric Range cooker in the kitchen/diner then make memories enjoying them together in the very cool dining area, where there’s another TV and patio doors outside. There’s a handy utility room and a stunning shower room next to it on the ground floor too. The first floor is home to two stunning bedrooms, both king-size rooms (one can be a twin), and a shower room with a walk-in shower. The second king (or twin) and another king-size room with an en-suite shower room are on the top floor, along with a separate WC. Chill out in the enclosed rear courtyard, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco.

Head out on walks along the river or go further afield to discover beautiful woodland and moorland walks in Exmoor. Potter around the town to do some shopping, go out for afternoon tea, and take a trip up to Lynton on the funicular railway, then walk back down the steep hill. You’ll find lots of gorgeous sandy beaches nearby for sunbathing and surfing, and kids will love Combe Martin Wildlife Park (11.5 miles) and Exmoor Zoo (11 miles) too.
