Discover the stunning moorlands and wild ponies on walks on Exmoor, visit Lynton and Lynmouth, two pretty villages connected by a cliffside funicular railway, where you’ll find lots of shops, pubs, and cafes to visit, as well as pretty riverside walks. Spend the day on the beach on any of the gorgeous sandy beaches nearby, including Combe Martin’s two, the main harbour beach and Newberry beach (8 miles). Follow the South West Coast Path up Little Hangman to Great Hangman viewpoint (2 miles) for spectacular views. Take your clubs and play the breathtakingly pretty course at Ilfracombe Golf Club (10.5 miles).
