There’s a real opulent feel in this holiday home’s décor, a place with feature wallpaper, bespoke fixtures and rich soft furnishings throughout. Enter the sociable kitchen/diner on the ground floor, accompanied by a handy downstairs WC. From here, you can access the small courtyard at the rear, a place to enjoy drinks in the sun. Sitting on the first floor is the lounge, a room kept cosy thanks to the wood burner and offering entertainment in way of a Smart TV and games console. Of the four bedrooms laid out over the top three floors, the master bedroom is the largest and best equipped, offering a king-size bed, a Smart TV and a Bluetooth speaker to fill the space with music whilst you get ready for the day.

The charming town of Sidmouth is on your doorstep with a delightful, pebbled beach, tearooms, pubs and shops, all less than 0.5 miles away. There’s a golf club on the edge of the town (1 mile) and a popular Devonshire attraction, The Donkey Sanctuary, is just a short drive away (3 miles). Venture into the AONB countryside by foot or by bike, exploring the heritage beauty of Bicton Park Gardens (4 miles) and the bird-watching hotspot of Aylesbeare Common (5.5 miles).

A very spacious, clean property, well equipped and ideally located for beach, shops and restaurants etc. However we were surprised not to receive a welcome pack, nor find any instruction leaflets for the appliances nor rubbish disposal. The second bathroom/ en suite is on the fourth floor which is a bit of a marathon unless fully fit. Super location, very spacious and comfortable. Good to have secure parking for one car. Big kitchen, huge main bathroom, lots of comfy seating. The stairs keep you fit! We enjoyed our stay.

The house was beautiful and so tastefully decorated, you could see it had been put together with love. It had all that you would need for a lovely break away from home. We loved the fact that it was right in the middle of everything, close to restaraunts, pubs and shops and most importantly to the children how close the house is to the beach. IRead moret was a pleasure to meet one of the owners Clare, to do the handover, she was truly such a lovely lady and I know had we needed anything she would have sorted it out for us if she could. Lovely house in great location. Owners Be aware there are four floors and forty nine stairs in all so not for those with mobility issues.

This is a beautifully restored house with amazing views across the promenade and bay. It has been finished to a superb standard. The kitchen is well equipped and the large comfortable living room is great for your group to gather together.
