Croyde is a picture-postcard village, with thatched cottages and cosy pubs. The village is a real hot spot for surfers, and you’ll find plenty of shops to equip yourself for a day amongst the waves. A short 0.5-mile stroll from the village centre brings you to a fabulous sandy beach, backed by dunes, where you can while away an afternoon playing on the sand, splashing in the sea, and eating ice creams. Alternatively, join the South West Coast Path for an exhilarating clifftop walk to Baggy Point, where the views are simply stunning.
