Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the property did not meet the standards we expected given the price paid. We attempted to use the swimming pool; however, the chlorine levels were excessively strong and made the experience unpleasant. The property itself appears very outdated and raised several health and safety concerns. UnfortunateRead morely, during our stay there was also a power cut which resulted in the loss of the water supply. Due to the combination of these issues, we chose to leave one day earlier than planned. This isnt really a place to stay with children as it is so far away from any activity places you are constantly having to drive miles. Hide

Lovely place, views are amazing, pool was definitely a bonus for us all. Fire pit was lovely on a spring evening. Property was clean through out. We had great fun playing the board games that were already there. Brilliant Holiday from beginning to end.

We went as a family of 9 plus two dogs and had a fantastic time. Sophie was extremely helpful with any questions I had. We loved Coham barn. It was perfect for two families. The pool was so good really put us into holiday mode straight away. The open lounge area was just right for chilling out and playing games. We had a truly wonderful stay. Simon and his family were very accommodating, providing top tips for the local area and even a grill and fire wood for our bbq. The surrounding area was also lovely and being woken up by the birdsong was a definite highlight. Would most certainly stay here again if coming back to Black Torrington.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful. There are three bathrooms and two bedrooms either side of the kitchen/lounge. The place is well decorated and feels very homely. Lots of games and books. Unfortunately the swimming pool wasn't available when we visited but it was a good size and easily accessible down a few stairs. We got to see cows who were very friendly and came right up to us. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who wants a rural break away. Hide
