The lodge was beautiful and everything you could possibly want was there (even dog poo bags!). The pool table turns in to a tennis table. The balcony is huge and covered so you can still sit out when its raining. The location is secluded but lots of attractions are an easy drive. Our only issue was the pool. This was thigh height and very smalRead morel so disappointing for the teenagers who were looking forward to having a pool Hide

This place has everything you need for a home away from home visit. The hosts really have thought of everything. Such a beautiful lodge in the most incredible surrounds with lovely neighbours who chat. We visited several local pubs and beaches and being this remote allowed you to travel places in all directions. The pool on site is just right. LoveRead morely and quiet and perfect for the few days we decided to stay in while it was so hot. The walks down the track were lovely and my dog appreciated all the new sniffs! The pool/table tennis table was a lovely addition as are the good choice of DVDs and books. The most amazing feature by far was the balcony which overlooks endless fields. Its just stunning and I lost myself out there with a book and cuppa for hours at a time. We definitely hope to re-visit again next year. Hide

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful lodge. The stunning balcony was a real highlight, and we enjoyed every meal outside while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The lodge is beautifully furnished, with comfortable beds that made for a great night's sleep. If you're looking for peace and tranquillity, this is the perfect place to unwind.Read more The location is ideal for exploring Exmoor and the beautiful North Devon coast, although most places require a car journey. The nearest shop is at the petrol station, around a 12-minute drive away, so it's worth stocking up on supplies before you arrive. One small tip for anyone bringing a dog: we used the clothes airer to block the front door to stop our dog from making a dash outside, and it worked perfectly! Overall, we had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely lodge Hide

Beautiful lodge, high up in a forest with the most amazing views. Well positioned to getting to the north Devon coast and both moors. Well equipped and easily fits four adults in two bedrooms. The pool/table tennis table is a brilliant idea as are the games and dvds available to watch and play. The pool is small but functional and not many people iRead moren there so you tend to get to use it with just yourself. Great lodge, great views. Thank you Hide
