The town is on the edge of Exmoor National Park, and you’ll find some beautiful walking routes branching away from the town. Heading to the coast, you’ll soon reach the seaside resort of Westward Ho! (19.5 miles), with its sandy beach, amusements and arcades, fish and chip shops, and independent eateries.
