This romantic retreat nestles in a quiet corner of the beautiful Hartland Peninsula in North Devon, with nearby walks on the South West Coast Path directly accessed from the property’s back gate. Just a few miles along the coast, the breathtaking Hartland Quay Hotel has a wonderful pebble beach, shop and restaurant with dramatic crashing waves that have claimed many a ship, some of which are remembered in the shipwreck museum. The small village of Hartland is a 2-mile walk from the property and offers a small selection of shops, three pubs and a coffee shop. For golden sands, take a short trip to the ever-popular Westward Ho! (16 miles) or take the opportunity to hire a rowing boat or walk on the Bude Canal (13 miles).

Stepping inside this country escape, you will find yourself in a cosy and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with exposed beams, really showcasing the blend of original and contemporary features within the cottage. This fabulously sociable room boasts a contemporary look with two leather sofas and a Smart TV, the perfect spot to relax with the warming crackle of logs on the wood burner.
