Ideally located for adventures on the coast and in the countryside, this modern dog-friendly bungalow is a brilliant base for families boasting a beautiful open-plan living area for relaxation each day. Situated in the village of Chittlehamton, you''ll find the RHS Garden of Rosemoor just 13 miles away providing a perfect day out for all ages with playgrounds, tearooms and plants to enjoy.

This property is spread over one floor with the heart of the home being the open-plan living room/kitchen/diner. Filled with natural light thanks to the sliding doors and furnished with large sofas, you''ll have plenty of space to sprawl out and relax whilst soaking in the surrounding views. Set your creative juices flowing in the contemporary kitchen area which has been finished to a high standard with a three-seater breakfast bar creating social opportunity whilst you''re cooking. In addition, an eight-seater dining table provides space for all the family to gather together, be it for meal times or evenings spent playing board games. All of the rooms are tastefully styled in colours to create a good atmosphere to help you fall asleep. The first of the bedrooms is furnished with a king-size bed, as well as enjoying the luxury of having an en-suite shower room. Bedroom two features a super-king bed which can be made up as a twin upon request and bedroom three is a standard twin, well-suited to children. The family bathroom is a luxurious affair with a free-standing bathtub, shower cubicle and a spa-like feel. Outside you can make the most of good weather on the patio and on the lawned garden which is perfect for children and dogs alike.

Head to the market town of Barnstaple to browse the local pannier market, or join a stretch of the Tarka Trail for a picturesque walking route with a number of cafes to stop and refuel at. If you fancy a day out on the coast, you can take your pick between North Devon''s fine dog-friendly beaches which include Instow (16 miles) and Saunton (17 miles). Here you can stroll on the sand, try your hand at surfing or dig into a tasty treat at one of the beachside cafes and restaurants.

Absolutely stunning property, completed to an extremely high standard. Honestly couldnt find fault with anything and finding somewhere else of this standard for next year is going to be nigh on impossible.

We have just spent a lovely week at green acres in Chittlehampton with our two dogs. We were all welcomed to the cottage with a lovely welcome basket of goodies and a beautiful cream tea. We loved all the extras. The bungalow is spotlessly clean and modern in appearance. It has everything that you could possibly need inside and out. The bed was lRead moreovely and comfortable and had a throw if you needed it but the bungalow is lovely and warm with hive heating. It was good to have the free wifi for our phones and tablet. Outside had a lovely secure garden for our two adventurous dogs. The garden is not overlooked and has extensive views of the surrounding countryside. The property is ideally situated to all local tourist attractions which we enjoyed exploring such as Barnstable, Bideford Bude woolacombe ilfracombe Lynton lynmouth exmoore. Some of the lanes are narrow but it added to the excitement. The village has a lovely shop/postoffice selling everything you may need. Lovely people own it and very helpful. Also a really lovely pub that do meals. The lady who owns the property is a lovely lady who is readily available to help if you have any queries. Overall lovely property in a gorgeous location and we would not hesitate to recommend it . Hide

This holiday bungalow is probably the best one we have ever stayed in. It was only converted to a holiday let two years ago. All the equipment is top of the range. The beds are blissfully comfortable. The garden is delightful and genuinely dog proof, even for our two little Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
