We really enjoyed our stay at Ship Ahoy. It had everything you could wish for. Literally only two minutes walk to the quayside where, if you got up early you could see some stunning sunrises. I did!. We were there for 5 nights and had no difficulty parking on the quayside. Only once we had to drive up the quayside and back but found a space on Read morethe return. In the event that you were unlucky you can actually park in the main carpark overnight for free between the hours of, between 7.00 pm and 8.00 am We didnt need to take advantage of it. We enjoyed the courtyard garden, the scent of the wisteria was lovely. All in all we had a most enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend it. Hide

Very comfortable and clean. Not really suitable for the elderly as the entrance steps are very deep and the shower needs a grab rail. Everything else was super we had a lovely stay.

Fabulous location and very comfortable property for a week's stay in Appledore. From the moment we booked, we were given all the information required to enjoy our holiday, from parking, apartment entry, comfort etc. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment including a Nespresso coffee machine (take your own milk frother), microwave, dishwasherRead more and even washing machine. The pint of milk in the fridge and tea/coffee was a nice touch. We had everything we needed for a lovely break. Being early June we had no difficulty in parking in the car park opposite the Maritime museum (well worth a visit). Pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance, and we enjoyed visiting the coffee shops/deli/icecream van after lovely strolls. Hide
