Located in the picturesque fishing village of Appledore, this characterful cottage is close to the waterfront and comes complete with a suntrap patio garden and plenty of coastal charm to create the ideal seaside retreat for friends or family accompanied by a couple of canine companions.

Step into the cosy lounge, where sumptuous sofas and a warming wood burner make this a perfect place to rest your feet after a busy day and catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV. The cottage-style kitchen/diner is a social hub where you can whip up delicious meals while chatting with loved ones. There is also a convenient shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs, you''ll find three bedrooms tucked under the sloping eaves of the roof - a king-size, a single, and a twin room with single beds. Completing this welcoming cottage is a family bathroom. Throw open the French doors from the lounge to let in the fresh sea air, or relax in the pretty cobbled courtyard. Enjoy dining alfresco using the charcoal BBQ and patio furniture, making the most of this lovely outdoor space.

The village, rich in maritime heritage, invites you to stroll down its quaint cobbled streets lined with independent shops, galleries, cafes, and pubs. Enjoy crabbing from the harbour, or sit on one of the benches and take in the views across the estuary to Instow (accessible via foot ferry during the summer months). Just 2 miles away, the popular seaside village of Westward Ho! can be reached via the South West Coast Path. Here, you can enjoy a long sandy beach perfect for surfing, kite flying, and sandcastle building. For fun-filled family days out, visit The Big Sheep Farm and Theme Park or The Milky Way Adventure Park, both within 11 miles of your door.

Really homely and spacious cottage, in a fabulous location within Appledore. It was perfect for our party of 4 adults and 2 dogs! The cottage was really well kitted out, and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. Thank you!

Lovely comfortable cottage, providing a great base from which to explore. Comfy beds, adequately equipped kitchen and homely throughout. Parking easy enough on roadsides or in a small car park close by.
