Exbourne is a small village situated on the outskirts of Dartmoor National Park, and this spacious barn conversion offers a wonderfully peaceful holiday retreat for families and friends. It is located just 6.5 miles away from the market town of Okehampton which offers a variety of amenities including shops, takeaways, and supermarkets. Keen walkers or cyclists will be spoilt for choice with Dartmoor National Park on the doorstep providing a huge range of walks and trails suitable for all abilities. Easy access to the A30 makes it effortless to reach the cathedral city of Exeter, just 20 miles away. Exeter boasts a wide range of restaurants and a multitude of shopping opportunities. Furthermore, there are several natural attractions within a 20-mile radius, including Lydford Gorge, Roadford Lake, Meldon Reservoir and Viaduct, Okehampton Castle, and families will love the Miniature Pony Centre, and Crealy Adventure Park.

This end-terrace barn offers superb accommodation which has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped throughout. The wooden floors and exposed beams plus stained glass features make this an original and interesting place to stay. Guests with dogs will love the freedom the surrounding space gives them, and efficient electric heating throughout makes it toasty at any time of year. Stepping into the barn you find yourself in the large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, comfortably furnished with plump sofas, Smart TV, books and games. Mealtimes are a delight at the large table and chairs which provides a great social space to chat whilst devouring delicious meals. The kitchen is extremely well fitted and equipped with all you need to cook up your favourite dishes, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. A utility room/boot room houses the washing machine and there is a handy cloakroom with WC. Heading up the beautiful wooden staircase to the first floor which has exposed beams and many character features, you will find three bedrooms, one of which is a beautiful king-size room with a stunning stained glazed panel which brightens up the first floor with coloured hues. Off this room is an en-suite shower room with WC. Another room has a super-king-size bed and a single (which can be used as a twin) and lastly a twin room. The family bathroom completes the accommodation and has a freestanding bath with shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside, at the rear, is a large, enclosed patio with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ and a gateway to some 5 acres of shared grounds which are ideal for exploring and which dogs will love – you may well bump into the owner and his dogs whilst enjoying their morning stroll. To the front of the barn is a communal area with parking for up to 2 cars.
