Experience a truly special stay when you book this delightful Somerset cottage in Exmoor. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom hideaway nestles in beautiful mature gardens and undulating, rural surroundings beside a stream. Situated near Kingsbridge, 8.5 miles from Minehead, it is well positioned for days out to the coast, as well as scenic walks through the national park.

Enter to find welcoming, stylish accommodation that blends fresh, exquisite decor with original features, such as wooden beams and stonework. Spend your evenings unwinding together in the tranquil lounge, in front of the roaring wood burner that is set into the inglenook fireplace. Watch the Smart TV, play games or simply gaze out across the verdant garden from the window seat. When mealtimes beckon, head through to the country-style kitchen to start preparing the next feast. Open the door to the garden in here on fine days and serve up at the table in the dining room. There is also a handy pantry for storing your provisions and a boot room for your wellies downstairs. A WC can also be found at this level. At the end of each fabulous day away, climb the stairs up to the first floor of the cottage to find a lovely king-size bedroom and a twin. The family bathroom, with a free-standing, roll-top bath, is also up here. Bask out in the lawned garden on fine days. Have afternoon tea out here, paddle in the stream and open a bottle of wine as the sun goes down.

Follow a section of the 50-mile Coleridge Way, which can be picked up within 1 mile of the cottage. Climb up to Dunkery Beacon, the highest point in Exmoor, 8.5 miles away. While away a summer’s day on Blue Anchor Beach, 6.5 miles away.

Lovely setting and overall a cosy and comfortable cottage. Lots of lovely walks from the door and a good pub within a short walk. Both dog friendly. We had lovely weather which made it a lovely week. Minor irritations with kitchen equipment, but didn't spoil our break.
