This beautifully presented home is in the lively Devon village of Braunton, home to a delightful array of cafés, shops and eateries, all within 200 metres. You’ll be just 2 miles from Saunton Sands, a favourite spot for longboard surfing, and 2.5 miles from the prestigious Saunton Golf Club. Further afield, outdoorsy types will surely make a beeline for the picturesque landscapes and wildlife of Exmoor National Park (22 miles).

Step into this stylishly presented one-floor retreat and immediately feel at home thanks to its cohesive colour scheme and coastal-themed artwork. The roomy lounge has a large bay window, a corner sofa and a Smart TV for family film nights. In the monochrome kitchen, whip up yummy dishes and sit down for meals at the elegant wooden dining table. Pick between three lovely bedrooms – a king, a double and a twin room (which can be made up as a super-king upon request when booking). There’s a charming bathroom with a shower over the bath. You’ll have a fabulous outdoor space, too, comprising a wraparound lawn where children can play safely (not fully enclosed). As well as your local beach at Saunton Sands, you’ll have gorgeous sandy stretches at Woolacombe (7 miles) and the renowned surfing destination of Croyde (5 miles), all located on the South West Coast Path which you can join at Saunton. As you explore this wildlife-rich region, you may spot seals basking on the rocks, or bobbing their heads out of the sea. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park (14 miles) will be a hit with children, as will the theme park at Watermouth Castle (11.5 miles). Adventure seekers might like to try coasteering at Watermouth Cove (11.5 miles). Ilfracombe''s Victorian fishing harbour (8 miles) offers dolphin-watching tours and boat trips to Lundy Island, an unspoilt paradise where puffins live on the cliff tops.

The bungalow is easily found and is a great location for the town and Staunton sands beach. Bus stop very short walk away, In a very quiet estate, close to nearby fields ideal for walking the dog. On arrival it was lovely and warm. Spotlessly clean, apart from the toilet seat. Beds and sofa were very comfortable. Smart tv has plenty of channels Read moreand apps, Internet is fast. The kitchen is very well equipped, dishwasher with tablets provided, washing up liquid and cloths provided. Nice selection of coffee,tea,hot chocolate, milk and cookies provided :) Hide

What a lovely cottage, the bedding was lovely, beds very comfortable. A lovely distance to the town. Very very comfortable and was in such a quiet area.
