Nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of the Blackdown Hills, ideally situated for exploring Devon, Somerset and Dorset, this Scandinavian log cabin is the ultimate getaway for families and groups of friends craving an escape to the countryside.

Flooded with sunlight from the floor-to-ceiling patio doors that frame glorious views across the valley, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasts a truly peaceful ambience that beckons weary travellers to unwind and dine with loved ones. The high ceiling creates a welcome sense of space whilst the gorgeous wood cladding perfectly blends into the colours of your idyllic natural surroundings. There are three charming bedrooms on offer, one en-suite king-size, one king-size zip-and-link (can be made up as a twin) and one 3'' bunk bedroom, which all offer an oasis of calm at the end of a busy day. Outside, on the covered veranda, tuck into a feast sizzled up on the charcoal BBQ while children and four-legged friends roam the enclosed lawn. You can also arrange a guided farm tour with the owner to meet the resident lambs or make use of the handy shared dog shower onsite.

A playground for keen outdoor enthusiasts, with woodlands, green pastures and valleys to explore on the doorstep, this scenic spot in the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, provides endless tracks and trails to explore. Dive into the history of the local area at the National Trust''s Barrington Court (14.5 miles) and Montacute House (20 miles) or enjoy a family fun day at Crealy Adventure Park 25.5 miles away. Pick up some fabulous local produce in Taunton (8.5 miles) or Tiverton (23.5 miles), which offers plenty of idyllic picnic spots beside the canal. The Jurassic Coast is easily accessible, with Seaton, Lyme Regis and Sidmouth all reached within 22.5 miles.

Great views and comfortable accommodation, the outside area was fenced with post and rail and stock proof wire so we felt confident that the dogs would not be able to escape! The watm dog shower was really handy too!!

This was such a lovely log cabin in a gorgeous setting. I could never tire of looking at the amazing views with sheep and goats in the background. We had mixed weather but our dog lay on the enclosed decking which was perfect for him and the garden if fully secure which was very important for us. Be mindful of the track that you have to drive doRead morewn which is narrow and not many places to pull in if a vehicle is coming the other way. Lovely owners with communication good. We will hopefully be back. Hide

Very nice hard to find as postcode of taken anywhere in the area . Lovely place and clean it was gorgeous views amazing and very peaceful . We did have a lovely time . Gorgeous weather very lucky .
