The house was clean, comfortable and large. We loved our stay here. Great to have 4 bathrooms and one with a bath. We were very confused by the fact that when we booked the house it said 4 bedrooms (2 twin, one super king and one double). There were photos of them all. The description now says 3 bedrooms and the photos only show 3. There were, howeRead morever, 4 bedrooms as the original description said. All very confusing. I can recommend this house and the pub up the road is friendly with good food and beer. The summer house in the garden is a bonus and a great place to watch all the buzzards overhead and listen to the various birds in the garden, which is looked after very well. Hide

A beautiful house, impeccably presented and extremely well equipped, but with a lack of sufficient heating in its principal sitting room to make a stay in cold weather an attractive proposition.

A lovely, well equipped property, in a beautiful, secluded location, and perfect for a family holiday. Close to a great village pub, and easy access to all North Devon has to offer.

This is a beautiful property. On arrival it was warm and inviting. Spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable but quite firm. Perfect for me! Soft and comfortable bedding with extra blankets if needed. Kitchen is well equipped and clear instructions left on how to use the electric range. Due to the time of year we spent most evenings at the Read morecottage cooking, eating and relaxing. The games room is great. With table football, pool and air hockey as well as a range of board games. WiFi signal is strong throughout. This cottage was perfect and we hope to return in the future. Shame the wood burner is not for use, but understandable due to the thatch. Hide
