Here, you’ll find a cosy wood burner tucked into the corner, perfect for snuggling up on cooler evenings. The galley-style kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials, making meal prep a breeze. Gather around the dining table by the window for family meals or enjoy a movie night on the two comfortable sofas opposite a Smart TV. The Lookout has a great location with a sea view. It is homely and comfortable - including the beds. Whilst a little scruffy round the edges it was relaxing and well equipped. The downstairs room were a little damp but the supplied dehumidifier sorted it out. We were really excited about staying in such proximity to the coastal path and this part of the holiday did not disappoint. East Prawle is a very quiet village but has an excellent local pub and also cafe and shop which are handy, and you can walk straight from the village and get onto the coastal path. The cottage, however, was a big disappointRead morement. The cleanliness was a poor standard, the property wasn't tidy and so many items were broken. There were also significant DIY jobs and cosmetic upgrades required- it seemed like it had been done up in a rush by someone who did not enjoy DIY at all! Overall it was not an acceptable standard to be hosting paying guests. This is a shame as it could be an amazing bolthole for staying near Salcombe, it needs an injection of cash and a bit of an overhaul. Hide
