Nestled in a prime central location on a quiet street leading to Teignmouth's Back Beach, this charming pink fisherman’s cottage is the ideal retreat for families or friends. Steeped in history as the former home of the lifeboat coxswain 120 years ago, the cottage has been lovingly renovated in Autumn 2024 to offer modern comforts while preserving its character.

Accommodating up to four guests, it’s just 50 metres from the Back Beach and its bustling marine activity. From here, everything is within reach: explore the nearby pubs, restaurants, and shops, or take a leisurely 300-metre stroll to the sandy Town Beach, perfect for swimming, picnics, and relaxation. Walk along the sea front promenade and discover the Victorian Pier and further on the open-air heated lido. Venture into town and enjoy some of the many cafes and restaurants…all on your doorstep!

Families will love the Dinosaur-themed adventure golf course, while those craving adventure can hop on the historic pedestrian ferry to Shaldon. This picturesque village boasts a smugglers' tunnel to Ness Beach, a wildlife trust and zoo with over 50 rare and endangered species, botanical gardens and more delightful pubs and restaurants. For day trips, the historic city of Exeter (16 miles) and the rugged beauty of Dartmoor National Park (12.5 miles) are just a short drive away.

Inside the Cottage

Step into the bright and welcoming hallway of your holiday home, leading to an open-plan lounge/diner on your right. The spacious lounge features a large L-shaped sofa, a cozy armchair, and a Smart TV for relaxed evenings in. A striking stone chimney breast with a coal-effect Harmony gas stove creates a warm, inviting ambiance, complemented by soft lighting and tasteful decor. At the far end of the room, the dining area with a charming round table and chairs is perfect for sharing meals and planning your next adventure.

The streamlined galley kitchen, complete with a small breakfast bar for two, is equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals including an induction hob, dishwasher and double oven. Upstairs, you’ll find two beautifully furnished bedrooms—a  king-size room and a spacious twin—both designed with soft tones and ample storage space. The family bathroom features a walk-in shower for ultimate convenience. There is fibre hi speed broadband throughout the property.
