Take in panoramic sea views from this exceptional apartment in Ilfracombe. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom penthouse enjoys an enviable position just 200 metres from the town’s famous harbour. With other beaches within walking distance, as well as shops and eateries, the apartment is also well positioned for anyone eager to explore magnificent Exmoor National Park.

Take the lift up to the top floor of the building to find your private quarters. Leave your outerwear in the hall and head through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its glass doors to the balcony and spectacular Bristol Channel views. Throw these open on summer days to bring in a sea breeze and, when the weather is clear, see if you can spot Wales in the distance. Settle on the plush sofa with your book or in front of the Smart TV then amble over to the modern kitchen to rustle up a delicious meal. Sip a cup of fresh coffee from the machine at the breakfast bar as you plan your next excursion. Above this welcoming space is a mezzanine floor, with another cosy relaxation area and a second Smart TV. The family bathroom and the bedrooms are on the lower level of the apartment.
