Drink in the gorgeous views of Brixham’s busy harbour from the window seats in this delightful cottage. A fabulous seaside escape for a family or a couple, it’s close to three beaches and the vibrant town’s shops, pubs and restaurants.

Take the steps up to the front door and enter the open-plan ground floor, decorated in serene tones for a relaxed vibe. From the comfortable seating in the lounge there are incredible views over the harbour. When you decide to close the curtains there are books, board games and a Smart TV for entertainment. In cooler months you can toss a log onto the open fire for extra warmth. The dining table seats four, and a step takes you up to the kitchen where the cook will find all the equipment they’ll need, including a range-style cooker, microwave and dishwasher. On the first floor, an elegant king-size bedroom and a compact twin, both with fabulous metal bedsteads, share a family bathroom. In the king-size room a window seat offers yet more fabulous harbour views. The courtyard garden is reached through the kitchen and via steep, external steps – when you reach the top, there’s a bench for enjoying a cuppa or a sundowner in the fresh air. Or enjoy a coffee at the front of the property, there's a bench and a table. Parking is on-street or in a nearby public car park, subject to availability.

Stroll down the hill to reach Brixham’s shops and eateries – don’t forget to try some freshly caught seafood or a cream tea. From the harbour you can go fishing or scuba diving, catch a ferry to Torquay or Paignton, or cruise to Dartmouth. The town’s beaches, one of which has a tidal pool, are all within a mile, and it’s less than 10 miles to Kents Cavern, Paignton Zoo and Woodlands Adventure Park.

Nice cosy cottage in a good location if you don't mind the steps! Wonderful view, beds very comfortable. Everything you need was there but maybe a little dated.

This is a lovely cottage in a fantastic position, with such good views. We found it warm and cosy, clean and tidy and very much enjoyed our stay. Parking is tricky, but there is parking outside the property if you are fortunate. But the stay was well worth it.

The views from the accommodation are great. This could have been lovely accommodation however it has a prolem with black mould and had not been cleaned well. The place smells of mould when you enter it. The bathroom shower was absolutely filthy, and there was black mould in many other areas. There is black mould in the cupboards in the main bedroomRead more so we could not use it. Clothes we did not wear had to be washed when we returned as they smelt. There were masses of crumbs under the settee seats. There were lots of cobwebs and general grime. And lastly there was a massive stain on the mattress cover which we did not discover until we stripped the bed on leaving. Absolutely didgusting!! Hide

Lovely property with great views of the harbour. Good facilities, though the literature about Brixham & cottage needs updating. Parking wasn't problem we parked on roads behind. Excellent facilities and a wonderful sun trap with outstanding harbour views. The narrow roads approaching and outside are hair raising and parking an issue if not available on the road.

Fantastic cottage & location, the view really is jaw dropping.. We were lucky to have great weather, spent many hours in the window seat watching the boats come in.. Did not disappoint at all!
