A beautiful property in an amazing location. Just at the bottom of the hill up to Mortehoe and overlooking Combesgate Beach, it is a short walk to the sea but also easy to stroll into Woolacombe or a short (but steep) walk up to Mortehoe. We had fantastic coastal walks from the door as well as lots of time relaxing on comfortable chairs looking outRead more at the sea through huge windows and the most incredible sunsets. Add in delicious Sri Lankan curry on Barricade Beach, cream tea in the Town Farmhouse, dinner at Miss Fea's bistro, coffee at The Porthole and multiple ice creams, this was a lovely holiday. Hide

A fabulous location and a great, spacious house perfect for large family gatherings. Needs a few tweaks in terms of service provision by the owner to make you feel as special as the high price you pay but nothing that couldnt be sorted quickly.

Actually left a day early as we were so cold. Would be great in summer or with better control of heating. Unloading and getting belongings up in to house so a bit of a struggle for Read moreelderly or infirm. Hide
